Connecting the Dots

I am amazed at how connected I have become over the years. Just like our discussion we had in our social media class that technology has become so advanced that we have all of these resources at our fingertips, but at the same time, we need to be cautious how we use this technology. One of the parts of being connected to the "Web" is that there are no second chances. We can click on a link we "think" is safe and be directed to something we were not intended to or expecting.  It is also especially important that we know exactly what we are posting as we can't take back what we post. We think we can delete things off of social media right away, but it's there even if we can't see it. It is very easy for someone else to access that post and share it with others. The web is definitely an amazing tool, but with every tool it is important to know how to use it for good as well as being aware of what we are using it for.
